Regis Philbin, host of Live! With Regis and Kelly, announced his final day and said goodbye on Friday to a long career in television. Philbin has been an iconic persona in the wold of television, having hosted more than 17,000 hours of screen time. The day was emotional, and Regis himself could not help to hold back a few tears. Kelly Ripa, his long-time partner on the show was especially emotional. She said, reminiscing on their long career together "You always want to make me feel like a million bucks, always." aRegis was visited by many people Friday, including David letterman and Joe Biden.
